Mentorship and Coaching

The Mentorship and Coaching Services Service is established through the participation of successful business leaders and entrepreneurs whom have had one or more successful business experience and are willing to invest the time and energy to assist other entrepreneurs in moving their businesses forward. Mentors, may come from the corporate world bringing with them sound business practices and prudent corporate business knowledge and acumen. Others are entrepreneurs themselves whom have founded and grown their own successful enterprises. While BioEnterprise’s focus is on the Agri-food, Agri-based Life Sciences and Bio-Product industries, mentors come from all industries bringing either sound general business experience or specific industry experiences.  Generally, the mentors are not compensated directly by BioEnterprise for their participation but may receive equity shares from the companies for which they provide advice and counsel.

The rationale is the same as for the investment preparation services. Entrepreneurs have neither the experience nor enough hours in the day to be able to deal with the myriad of critical issues while simultaneously operating their businesses. The mentorship service and network is a fundamental component of delivering high value commercialization services and is a most crucial piece of investment preparation.

The ability for such businesses to ultimately attract capital is often attributed, at least in part, to the team of advisors and mentors that have helped direct management.

Access to the network is available through an automated, web-based system. BioEnterprise can select / match advisors and mentors with entrepreneurs and manage the process for those entrepreneurs that are working closely with us. Entrepreneurs can seek out such expertise without BioEnterprise’s direct involvement. This is done through an on-line registration for mentors and the related search capabilities for entrepreneurs. Once registered, the on-line data base of mentors will contain information regarding experience, industry expertise, acceptable geographic locations, amount of time available for mentorship activities and many other factors.
